So overall the real users submitted 277 sites.

When someone purchased a featured link, will it automatically goes out to that website
and take a snap shot of it to be pasted onto the featured section ?? Like whats shown right now?

Yes it will be shown on the right side.
You need to update your thumbnail on http://www.alexa.com to have that thumbnail.
