Picked up a couple .gd's. Including Free.gd.

It costs $50 a year to register, which I don't think is to bad.

Any thoughts, is it worth the reg free?

If you can find a good abbreviation for GD and develop it, it will increase the value a lot I think. If you're just planning to resell it, I have no idea what it's worth. Although, probably regfee or more.

I could see it being used as a site for free game downloads (public domain games) or general discussions (forum hosting)

Free is a good keyword so there are many uses for it if you want to develop it.

You should be able to cover your registration costs if you do something with it
