You are quite right, plenty offers of 100Mbit at just $200.5$/mbs
5$/mbs is Cogent bandwidth pricing, and if you see cheaper prices, it means that either a host doesn't profit from his business or oversells.
Well, there are also other ways to offer 100Mbit at just $200, you can save selling refurbished hardware or giving less support that you should.
But getting back to our special, we offered Premium bandwidth from Level3 and Abovenet, and at that time the prime cost for bandwidth was 8$/mbs, so if you believe that you project requires 100Mbs network and you can't afford to lose clients, will you get 100Mbit at $200 if you know the prime cost?
