Is assigned to the Republic of Moldova, however .md has been basically taken over by medical sites registering it.

I've been trying to get a good name, as I am a medical student looking to start up a Medical forum. Medical forums/boards are very popular on the internet, and i'm going to be working with a few medical sites in getting the community started.

My only fear is that .md extension isn't that popular? Does google / other search engines crawl .md extensions? And what do you think the value of this domain will be developed. Thanks.

I'm thinking mid $xxx because it can be used for multiple things. As a couple before me have said, when I too first looked at the thread I thought Medical. Definitely a multi-purpose domain here!
