Just grabbed this domain yesterday.
forum.TLD is taken in almost all know TLDs

How much would this domain worth?

.name is not a weak gTLD in fact it it a very very weak gTLD. End users don't even know about its existence.

Cannot comment on price though as it is completely dependent on the fact that how much an end user can pay for it.

The Dot in Front of Forum may make or break this. With a Subdomain it could be worth something . Example = Domain.forum, Car.forum and so on You will most likely sell it just for that reason in my opinion.

Maybe Mid - high $xx if you pitch it right.

I really dont see much value if any at all as a stand alone name.

Sales are far and few with this extension.

Maybe low to possibly mid $xx to someone with a vision.

Brand the name with your above idea.
