O.k.; Formulise.com It is a one word, Dictionary word. Where can i go with this in terms of development? What sort of End-user would use this name? As a name alone does it past reg fee or does it have to be developed to pass reg fee? In case of developement, what are the best Keywords that would be associated with this term?

O' snap! i just typed in Formulise in Google and my post from here appears in fifth place on the first page. Newbie question--What does that mean in terms of Page ranking or SEO (if i'm using the terms correctly) for Formulise.com and Namepros.com? Does that mean that Formulise.com has a page ranking? Is it a good thing or is it something that doesn't really matter much? Thank you...

P.S. --I love giving Rep points because the answers help me to learn.

Just like the military, never speculate without an exit plan.. in other words, try not to buy in areas you're not comfortable in or if you have no idea of what to do with the domain once purchased. In that case, it becomes a time and energy waster (i.e., begins to cost you effort and possibly money).

Not every dictionary word makes for a good domain. Why? It has to be both developable and marketable.

Formulise has only 905 Google results.. great for SEO. It would be relatively easy to rank #1 for the term BUT it's apparently not widely used (which is bad, value wise). There are also no Overture results which means it's not being searched for (used as a search time, again bad for you).

Hence, I'd give the domain a low xx value (at best) as it would need both branding and development for any real value. I'm not evn sure how you could monetize such a site off hand..

To answer your other question, the placement of your Google result is different from an actual page rank. They are two separate things. The placing of your Google result is more a factor of it appearing on NamePros than anything to do with the rank or value of your domain.

Hope this all helps!
