Hi,

What do you think about Forex?
Is the market dead or alive?

"Forex" searches by countries:
Brunei
Uganda
Pakistan
Nigeria...

Hi Pros,

Seems an interesting piece of writing for me as I am also very eager to know the increasing worth of Forex domains.

Definitely, Forex is an old yet boosting business that if done wisely may turn few bucks into huge funds within no time.

On the other hand, though I am not much older in domain trading (as my basic profession is software engineering/research), but as far as I have learned the things and acquired knowledge regarding this business, it is more than beneficial if things are carried out wisely and a little patience there and most importantly, if luck works as I always add..

Still, I am learning both forex and domain trading and wanted to add to my knowledge while listening from your experiences. What you people think about new emerging TLDs if they are being used with "Forex" as a single keyword?

Hey Folks

Hope you are all well....

Just wondering if anyone knows where the best place for me to sell Forex related domains would be?

I have been trying to contact end uses but without much luck so far. I have these forex domains:

ForexTrader.online & ForexSignals.online - I have them both listed on Sedo for $3888 each and have been contacting end users offering these domains to them at $1499 for both. I think from a brand-ability point of view these domains are great, I'm convinced if I could get them in front of the right people they would sell like hotcakes. Not sure if any of you could point me in the right direction with regards to where to market these domains...

I'm in Forex for years, I'm trading and selling domains... But there is problem with new extensions big companies just don't like them. I'm afraid you need to wait 5-10 years to sell it easy.

And yes there is one important thing to know about Fx companies they don't like to buy domains and seat on it. They will buy domain only if they building new service. So there is no sense to contact them believe me I try million times.

Thanks for the heads up mate, much appreciated. You certainly right about contacting them, I been contacting them for the past few weeks now and loads of them. All via email, still no solid interest.

I'm sure that in a few years these domains would be worth a good amount of money, I would actually prefer to hold on to them for a couple of years and then sell them but I need funds urgently so I have been trying to sell these domains to end users, without much luck unfortunately...lol

Yeah understand, the best thing is to keep them. However I will try to reach my contacts and let you know if anybody show interest.

Cheers!

I have several brandable trading-related .COMs. I have reached out to end users in the past without a sale. I recently was contacted by an end user for one of them (ten year-old .COM registration) with a less than $150 offer. Based on prior experience with lowball offers I decided to not respond. If he really wants the name it is available with BIN pricing at Godaddy or he can make a serious offer.

Folks you need to understand that FX end users want only premium domains, when I write "premium" I really mean that.

Second, it's impossible to sell low quality fx domain. Fx domains can't be flipped between domainers, because they don't have that kind of value.

If you don't have deep of understanding of Fx market stay away from fx domains because you will lose you time in order to find domains and you will lose your money buying domains. Keep your money and time for more comercial/liquid things/domains in you niche.

I was try to buy domain here for enduser and all of you send me $12 domains at enduser prices. I was able to buy all that domains at auctions as I monitor everything and I pass it. I know exactly how much you pay for it. If I pass them for minimum price on auction why I should buy it now for end user price. They are worthless.

Right now I own 10 domains in this niche which I pay from $500 to $1000 per domain at auctions where was involved more then 30 bidders per domain. And guess what, they are not ok for end users.

I'm trying just to help you to understand what is all about.

If you ask me I like deez007 domains (end-users don't), I reach contacts and get answer that I already know. BTW I do my best to help him and PM him a month ago and he thanks to me which is more then enough.

One more thing if you ever buy FX domain at $500 on auction there is possibility that you can flip it for double if you do your best. But you can't flip from $100-$500

People involved in FX business understand value of money better then you or me and they are not willing to pay to much for domain, even if seating on hundreds of millions.

This is really specific niche, so if you have more questions just let me know.

I'm also Fx trader...
