Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that PictureTagger.com is the ONLY free, advanced image tagging service on the web.

PIctureTagger.com provides a free service to anyone that would like to add custom tags to any non-indexed .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .tif or .png images. Tagline, font color and location can all be easily selected. The user is then immediately prompted to open or save the tagged image file. Files are NOT stored on the server eliminating hard disk usage and file pruning.

PictureTagger.com was developed to test and showcase my work to date on a .NET image tagging component (to be offered on DotNetStuff.com). The code in PictureTagger.com is NOT the compiled component. You will have all of the code allowing you to customize the site with new features or utilizing the code in other projects. Once the DotNetStuff.com image tagging component is completed, the winner of this site will receive a licensed copy with resell rights free of charge (Right to resell sites and applications utilizing the component...not to resell the component alone).

The site itself is a minimal, tableless, CSS design with one pane of Google AdSense. I will assist with the move to your .NET hosting account if necessary. The service will run on any standard .NET hosting configuration.

I have decided to offer this site as an auction. Winner will receive all of the site contents, .psd files, image tagging code, domain name and resell rights to the released version of the component.

Wow...heh...umm...ok...

I can understand the market for .NET sites is smaller than PHP sites within this community. I'm not torn up that I didn't receive any offers. I never expected the auction to reach the BIN. But not even receiving a comment or question confuses me.

Can somebody please let me know whether it's the nature of the service or what that resulted in zero interest?
