Reselling Surreal-Media templates is against their terms of use, BUT a buyer can purchase these websites(because this seller isn't making a profit from it) there for the buyer will be come the owner of a used template.

They don't give out source files anyway, fyi.

But according to Surreal Media will put the new owner of the template(s) will have sole responsibility for the new template, which means you have to get surreal media to change banners etc..



I had a conversation with an SM rep, heres the convo so buyers can understand it.

Monte: What will happen is whomever buys it will have to provide their name/email to him. He will then request for the template to be changed to their name

Monte: Then he no longer has access or any say over it

Monte: It is fully in the other users name

Dan: will the new buyer have to agree to your terms of use?

Monte: They would take that responsibility with the template

Monte: If they misuse it their name is on the line, not the previous owners

Not trying to flame your post or hi-jack it, I just think this information might guide this sale in a safer direction.
