I want to build a niche Amazon affiliate site, so basically it's a semi-ecommerce site. The problem is FooBar.com is not available. I'm left with:

Foo-Bar.com
FooBar.org

I'm simply listing the niche products and link to Amazon from the site, so I guess Foo-Bar.com would be better in this case. However, if I'm going to post original articles about these products and then link to Amazon, FooBar.org would also be a nice choice.

Which one would you suggest me choose?

Totally depends on what "foo" and "bar" are! Are those words + your planned content credible in a .org? If not, use the hyphenated .com or a different domain altogether.

Get both! Especially if the keywords are somewhat strong. IMHO hyphenated domains look good in, for example, Adwords etc. so if you plan to advertise the site a hyphenated .com is a good choice.
