End users don't know and normally don't care in what format the video's are being shown to them, but for a business to webmaster type of thing. flv.com would be valueable to sale a encoding software to other people or even flash scripts to be able to play the flv video's.
Now, for the 10k then 20k jump. I agree, they could be fishing to find the reserve price on the domain. Lord forbid if someone created a bot to automaticly bid on domain names and this one thinks it's first bid was made by someone else and up bid on it's previous bid. Or it could be two friends of the person is shill bidding on it using the same hi jacked account.
my ebay account was hacked today, someone listed tons of stuff, but ebay restored my account. I don't think it was the password problem.
I am speculating ebay system has some glitch today.
