FlippZone.com - Hot or Not?

Hello,

I've just started a website about 3 days ago called FlippZone.com. It offers owners of domain names and websites the ability to list them in an auction setting.

The main feature being that to join the website as a member is free. Then you can have unlimited numbers of domains and websites listed, for auction for as little as $10 a month.

Kindly review my website about color combination, design, navigation, etc. Please also let me know your suggestions.
And what you might think it's worth.

Why it is horrible: Poor usability, poor visual design, childish sounding domain name, no listings, not enough data.

The reality is that you need to simplify the concept, but the domain doesn't work either.

The name is fine.

• Typography has some problems
• What is the deal with the flash ad in the bottom right about dead people? I'm totally confused by that
• I'd get rid of that RSS feed icon in the sidebar. RSS for domains? websites? deals? all of those? none of those? Don't make your users guess ever
• Get rid of the newsletter box. The focus should be getting people to sign up for an account, not a newsletter. Correct?
• Add links for popular listings, and just sold listings. It lets people know the site is active. Social proof.
• You need to add social media accounts.

Edit: I'd also be weary of potential legal trouble with Flippa.

What does "flipp" mean?

Agree that you could be in trouble (potentially) with Flippa.
