Flippa auction help

Hey everyone.

I have 7 days left on an auction listing on Flippa. This morning, i was offered an amount that i am prepared to sell for through the 'discussion' section underneath my auction. However, being a complete and utter novice in the domain game, I aren't sure what the next step is.... Does the buyer place a bid to the value of their offer and i then end the auction, or is this not right?

Also, do you have any tips for me on how to handle the payment/transfer. I'm extremely wary of getting burnt.

Just set his offer as the BIN price then tell him to hit that button.

First of all check the buyer's profile and see if he has feedbacks etc.

If you are happy with him as a buyer and you want to close the auction set the price as a BIN and ask him to click that button. If you don't want to close the auction and maximize your chances of getting a better price than set the amount as your reserve and make him place that bid. This way you will be able to see if there are other people willing to bid a higher amount and if not you will have that first bid as your final selling price.

As for payment ( really depends on the amount ) you can either use an escrow service ( I haven't used Flippa's ) or go with PayPal but if you are scared of being scammed then an escrow service is your best choice.

Small world mate. What end of the city are you from? Not the most riveting place on the planet, but it's been kind enough to me.

I certainly am a Stoke fan. Sadly it sounds like Shaqiri has turned us down, but we're supposedly trying to sign Yarmolenko now for £14m. Can't fault the ambition at the minute, even if we do seem more hopeful than confident ha.

it is yeah ha ha - its like when you go on hol abroad and see ppl you know. i don't live in stoke am from down the road in crewe so not far. same here really but i think its a good area round here in general as you say.

thats a shame cos he would have been a good player for you. that other lad sounds promising so hope you get him. ha ha well at least you're trying yeah!
