Flash Animation Estimate

Hope this is the right thread for this...

I have an offer to create a small number (2 - 6) flash animations.

The overall theme is to show someone giving a kiss... with this be blowing a kiss or making it look like they're kissing the screen they don't mind.
( its a cartoon theme not an adult theme by the way).

Just wondering what estimately someone would charge for this for each individual animation? As they are willing to hire more than one person.

I have no idea.

isn't this in one of the forums here? anyway, it depends on how much time you would spend on it, and what you charge an hour for your services.

Thanks got a bit blinded by all the discussions you have here at NamePros.

Well anyway ive lost the client i think. I said i would charge at most $60 per animation, depending on the size of the animation and the complexity.

Havent heard anything back as yet.

I dont think $60 is too much for an animation. Sometimes people dont realize how much work goes into animating cartoons. I hope you hear back from him soon!

well, competition kills. We have been charging over $300 for these kind of animations just few years back. But now, you can easily find some one willing to do it even in less than $30 each.

Haven’t heard anything back so I presume the client has gone elsewhere.

I wasn’t prepared to lower my price as I think im being generous enough as it is.
