As Jeff mentioned...step very lightly because of the TM issues that could come about. I personally would not approach the .com owner but instead develop the site on a non-technology based topic or sell the domain for low $$. Just my opinion.

Personally, I think it is a good domain!

You might be able to fetch $20-40 to a domainer, but if you develop it into a website, it will be worth much more.
