hi,

just having a go at desiging a website, which i haven't done for a long time.

I mainly use free templates and modify them to suit. But im sick comprising the look and feel of the website.

All ive done so for, is this simple design, not coded yet.

I was trying to go for a cartoon/fun style

tell me what you think.

I dont no whether to go for TABLES or pure CSS when coding.

Have you any thoughts on this? Have you any tips or know of a good tutorial any where?

Well if this is your first try you did a good job, however it has too much color.. i would get rid of the dashed borders aswell.

Has to be pure CSS. The table-based layout hack is obsolete.

the yellow panel colours are not going to be seen, there only there for my own use. Thanks for your comments.

Im starting to code the site now, in pure css.
