First attempt to design Vb template

I've design this template using photoshop.. Thinking of using this for my own forum.. What do you all think of it? By the way, how do I code it? Must I slice it? Is there anyone you guys can recommend to code it?

Now you've gotta code it into vB though, that's the real task. Good couple of days work if you do it yourself modifying the original template.

Really nice template! I like it. It's especially excellent for a "first attempt". The color scheme is great, the layout is awesome. I can't think of any way to improve.

Really neat, I have two comments on it. First, the login area is too big for me. Second, I don't like the font for the forum header (forum name, threads..). Other than that, it's cool, good job!

The only thing I would do is change the font on the Login buttons.

i would like to make colours more easy. lighter. cause they really as someone told previously look sexy. better to use light blue. not bright one. my thought.

I like it.... the only thing i would change is the gradien blu color. Just try not to use gradient color, the 3D corners can be done using the bevel effect (not too much). When i started with graphic design i loved gradients.Now i am very carefull when i use it. Try to use deep marine blu. The text would be very ok over that color.
Another rule i believe in is to not use more than three colors in a composition, but this depends on what are you doing....

Only change i would make would be ditch the buttons and have it in the bl bar that the buttons sit on top of as text.

Sweet layout! I use vBulletin myself and i dont know who to code it either let me know if you find a good resource!

It's very nice, except for the one thing that people might have heard me say before: I really don't like the light blue color, or something resembling light blue; it gives it a non-professional look IMO. Try changing it to a dark blue gradient

Agreed. I'd also tone down the blue, it's a bit bright.
