To be honest, not what I'm looking for, but thanks for the effort.

Your logo = crafty. Reminds me of vintage stuff that you'd find on etsy or a little offline furniture boutique.

I'm looking for a little techy / modern / startup / web 2.0. NameFu is much closer to what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the good feedback. In addition to bringing the words together, I've improved on the aesthetics in general. Please let me know if you'd like to see this in a different color or with a different font or with a dot com attached to the end (all of which can be supplied later in various versions).

I`ve tried to create something 2.0, simple, with a modern look, using your initials D and V (which has a form of a play button) and I`ve tried to incorporate the play button into the text by introducing it into the 'i'.

Here is a proposed logo for Documentary Vine. This logo is with the square version which you can use for facebook, twitter, Google+ etc.. Hope you will like them

OK so I really love the entries from Normax and NameFu (second one).

However both of you have provided a mockup which shows the logo outside of the actual parameters set by the theme. I have inserted a 194 x 31 black box on my theme where the logo goes to show where it sits (see below)...

So would be really helpful if you could both provide your mock ups with a logo in similar position, equal to the featured videos below if you notice (both currently go too far left).

NameFu, on your second design I think the words could be a little closer to the icon to save a little space.

Would be awesome if you guys (NameFu + Nomax) could try and show the logo around the size and location of the black box to help me choose one.

Thanks for all entries, some of the others are great designs, but these are the two which excite me the most to be frank. All subjective I guess!

@Normax , the text looks a little too close to the icon, would it be possible to put a little bit more space between the icon and the text? Also, NameFu provided a square version for the social media profiles, would be good if you could show what this could look like?

@NameFu Would be great if you could just provide the website mockup with the second logo shown where the black box is on my earlier screenshot, just to help me see how it would look on the website?

I'm 50:50 on these, one of these will 100% be chosen, thanks!
