Filtering Traffic Based on Location

Hello,

I am trying to make something that would filter out traffic from specific regions and send that traffic to one parking company and send the rest of the traffic to the other one.

Now for this I do have a GEO IP database and can get it done by the script. The main question is which parking companies will allow me to do a 302 redirect after detecting where my traffic is coming from?

I'm pretty sure all parking companies do not allow for 302 redirects any longer.

I have setup exactly what you describe using the geo ip and forwarding to subdomains similar to above.

i have a zone file template that forwards requests via my configuration to each parking co's via cname
for example:
www2 14400 IN A 199.59.241.250 Bodis
www4 14400 IN A 173.212.56.249 VD

etc,etc

You can also segment the traffic via type - mobile etc.

You might want to check out - http://domainmanager.com. They already have the system in place. I've just never figured out how to use their interface.

There was a company run by some reasonably well known people which operated a website that did this kind of splitting traffic sending the traffic to particular parking companies. I even subscribed (the cost was reasonable). But I can't for the life of me remember their website. Can anybody else help out with this?

Nick - If I were to do something myself, I would do it exactly like KwelX is doing. And actually we do this ourselves sometimes to compare ourselves to our competitors. It works like a charm.
