Fiat is also a generic keyword (something to do with loans, I think), so you should be okay as long as you don't go into the auto industry.

I live in Italy and I can tell you for sure that they did not stopped to produce Fiat cars, maybe they don't export to US any more.
Fiat is also a word (verb) in Latin but in Italian does not mean anything.
