Hello. I own FFANTASY.com. The domain is based generally on the Final Fantasy series. Generally you will see various websites which related to the Final Fantasy series in the format of www.ff then the catchy title they create, finished off by a .com.

Now I think my domain is quite premium being that it almost sounds official, and it is very easy to remember and I have been told that it is very catchy.

I really like the domain, great for your purpose. However, other than for a Final Fantasy fan site its uses are very limited. $25 wholesale, much more developed.

I see where ur coming from for the game series and titles. Indeed, as you say the majority of the market do follow that basis. UT = Unreal Tournament - CS = counter Strike - CZ= Condition Zero and so on.

However, worinking on that basis, surely the domain reads : Final Fantasy Antasy ????? (going by the www.ff -coolname- .com)

However, as I said with GameCore.Com, I think there is definately a market. I assume you play the game, as someone like Jeff or CoastalGuy wouldnt touch it, so market it to Clans / Leagues / Info sites. I think you could get them to part with $50+ but resale, I think ur on a up hill strugle and only see Reg Fee.

I own A LOT of final fantasy names one of the largest FF forums and most visited websites so I can give a pretty accurate guesstimate.
Based on what I have paid in the past I would say somewhere around $20.
There are always plenty of ff related names floating around. Just today I looked at a list of about 40 ok ff names available for registration.
