Did some research on Overture, Google, Link Pop etc and results looked promising.
Also, Ferrari.it seems to be more popular than Ferrari.com

Just registered today.
I'm guessing that there will be a fair bit. There are already some links to the site through typos.
Will park it on Sedo as soon as conformation comes through and get a few days of stats.

if Ferrari the auto manufacturers say they want your domain, you can tell them it can mean a whole variety of things and they don't have exclusive rights to it.

Ferrari is very famous mark. It does not matter wheter you have "ferrari" or "ferarri". It's like when you compare "wal-mart" and "wall-mart".

Yes, if you are just planning on parking it, then you could use this strategy, however, you could not have a site related to cars at all. Assuming no TM issues, I would say low-mid $xxx, as it is a very nice typo.

Got my first clean week worth of stats on Sedo.
Not as much traffic as I was expecting...... getting around 35 views a day with a 27% click through to adverts.
