Hey guys I just launched a site with the help of another namepros member. After a couple months of hard work...it's up.
www.SlickSticks.com

Please give me any feed back on the site, the product, whatever you can think of. Any constructive feedback would be much appreciated.

The site is for a very unique graphic design product. Its wall graphics. Theyre not really stickers and they are not messy like using stencils and paint. The product is quite unique and backed by some awesome design talent that was formerly with Walt Disney company. The site is live to the public but I'm just now beginning to promote the site. So, any feedback or issues that you find would really be a big help.

From one NP member to another...
Thanks in advance for your help.

Wow cool.

Lol I want some for my room, the defininte demographic are for Female teens and dorm kids I think.

A few questions.

How well do they work in certain enviornments.

In cold enviornments will they stick well?

I hot enviorments will they leave a residue and peel of the walls?

How long do they last for?

How many styles are there?

Who came up with the idea/designs/and who produces them?

will there be bigger/larger/longer version of it fo rlike stipes and things?

Can I attach them on my car?

what other surfaces do they apply too?

Do they remove and re-stick well?

How long will they take to ship?

How long will they last for off the wall, w/o the protective backing?

Do you have anews letter or catalog with design ideas

Is there a Forum where i can discuss my ideas with others, to accompany the gallery?

On an unrealted personal note. Would you like to in the future register your produc with my site vide/review/product site thingy? pm for more details about it.

Lol I want some for my room, the defininte demographic are for Female teens and dorm kids I think.

A few questions.
A few answers..........
How well do they work in certain enviornments.

In cold enviornments will they stick well?
they are rated 5years in an outdoor environment ( 20 below to 105 degrees)
I hot enviorments will they leave a residue and peel of the walls?
they are designed to be semi-permanent. THis means that they won't peel off of the wall. They can be removed without any residue..however they are not designed to be like a moveable static cling. The idea is more permanent and durable. Once they are on, you can wipe/wash the wall etc. as if it were painted on.

How long do they last for?
Outdoors 5 years in the elements...indoors almost indefinitely.

How many styles are there?
There are over 30 designs in production...over 2/3rds on the site and each design comes in an average of 5-6 color packages.

Who came up with the idea/designs/and who produces them?
A couple of former Walt Disney Feature Animation artists came up with the designs and the idea to start the company. Hammerspoon studios manufactures them.

will there be bigger/larger/longer version of it fo rlike stipes and things?
There are some that are in production which are larger shaped...but the whole idea is easy of application and a whole room design.

Can I attach them on my car?
Yes. They will stay on for a long time.

what other surfaces do they apply too?
Just about anything that isn't extremely textured or oily, dusty, sandy...

Do they remove and re-stick well?
They are not designed to be re-sticked. They can be carefully removed but they are designed to have more permanency.

How long will they take to ship?
3-5 days

How long will they last for off the wall, w/o the protective backing?
So long as the it hasn't been applied it will last a while...however, it's best to not remove backing until youre ready to apply them.

Do you have anews letter or catalog with design ideas
There is a basic e-club right now....tips,tricks, specials...that sort of thing.

Is there a Forum where i can discuss my ideas with others, to accompany the gallery? Not yet..may be a good idea though.

On an unrealted personal note. Would you like to in the future register your produc with my site vide/review/product site thingy? pm for more details about it.

Degrees farenheit/ celsius/or kelvin?

The purpose the can I un peel and re-stick was basically questioning wether not they can be removed, say someone doesn't like where it's at within the first week or so, could I take it off the wall and put it back in another location? Thats one thing to think about.

now anwser my other question ;) lol

The site loads and runs well on all the machines I've tested, and they run well in 16 different states. from ohio to california.

Yo..Phat,
degrees farenheit...(you didn't really think it was celsius did you?:) )
Regarding the move them around thing....no. they are made to be more permanent then that. They are removable once up, but once they are removed it's best to not reuse them. It is easy enough to lay out your design on your surface prior to setting them on the surface. That way you can move things around all you want until you like the layout and then it takes literally minutes to affix the art to your walls, etc.

Thanks again for the feedback..

Extremely cool product! I think you're going to hit a homerun with this.

From a customer point of view, I would want to know if there will be more sophisticated designs. The designs currently shown on the site are more juvenile or "cartoony," which certainly appeals to the younger crowd. But what about adults who want to add an elegant touch to their decor?

I really like the site the way it is. I love the short video on the home page - very attention grabbing and focused on the main customer benefits of fast implementation and ease of use.

The only thing that really caught me on the negative side is the grammar and punctuation. It isn't horrible, but it could definitely use an edit. The tone of the text seems appropriate to the audience and in line with the product itself, so I don't think that aspect should be changed--just clean up the grammar and punctuation.

(This is a really neat product that I would like to use in my home. Also, please let me know if you decide to run an affiliate program!)

Christine,
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. I'm glad you like the product and the site. It is a very cool product and everyone is very excited about it. As for the designs...there are many more that are in the works and ready to go up on the site soon...but if you have any ideas for a design or something you think would be a winner...please feel free to share. As for the grammar...any ideas for corrections are more than welcome. Please PM or post.

I do believe an affiliate program would be a good thing. If you have any thoughts on that..please pass those along. Any recommendations for putting the program together would be great too (companies or ways to get it set up.)

Thanks again,
N Fran
