The facsimile industry is dying a slow, but certain, death with the dominance of the web (and email) as a way to transmit documents.

That said, there are plenty of businesses that do uses faxes.

This sounds like a decent name for a local fax service (geo location based service) ... either providing (or linking to an affiliate) fax service, or a simple directory of bricks and mortar locations offering fax service.

In either case, it would need a bit of dev effort to make it worthwhile, so for the name alone, I would say somewhere in the $xx area.

1+ Billion people market with most without water so they still may use faxes for a long long time.

My valuation is $1,000 - $5,000.

Plenty of businessmen may need it.

Plenty of "phone and call overseas shops" so it may be a need for faxes too.

not worth much to invest in dying technology. We were offering a free high end fax in garage sale and NOBODY even picked it up. We had to recycle and PERFECTLY working HIGH END fax machine.

VISTA names were rage 2-3 years ago.. Now barely worth the effort..

Indians adapt to technology quite well.. In fact, cellphones are FAR more popular than landlines even in RURAL india. The fact that you need a landline to send/receive a fax makes it worthless. Cellphones/3G are the future
