The fast food industry will have revenues of over 125 billion dollars in 2006

There are over 200,000 fast food restaurants in the US

OVT for fast food= 178,729

Google results for “fast food”= 32 million

Thanks, Yes the site does very well. We are happy with the $ and it is growing at a good rate.

Many have asked where, when, and how much the name was purchased for. Sorry I can't respond to that in this thread, but it was a fairly high profile sale and there are many references about it online.

wow - that was a fair chunk you paid for it, only you know what it makes - was your interest more for income or resale ?, if resale have you tried to sell to McDonalds or the likes ?

Could also be an excellent name for the us goverment to help promote healthier living, god knows what that could be worth to them in the long run !!

I see you did some homework, and in the process, posted some stats that I should have posted.

In response to your question, we originally purchased the name to develop for a nationwide meal and grocery delivery service. Although the business plan seemed sound (and still does), we realized that it would require a massive investment, and chose to go in the direction you see on the current site.

You also have pointed out that this name would be ideal for promoting the health issues regarding fast food. We think this is going to be a controversial subject in the near future, similar to tobacco.
