Thanks, but what I am wondering is if the acronym stands for frequently asked questions or question? In a domain name, would it be more appropriate to have examplefaq or examplefaqs?

In baseball, RBI ("Runs Batted In") is more commonly (but quite mistakenly) referred to as ... "RBI's". %%-

So, I guess I would suggest that you register both versions, IMHO.

Both would work and are correct, though I would value the singular FAQ more than the plural. However, one of the most popular FAQ sites on the Internet is www.gamefaqs.com Overture + extension searches is 64,000+ :o
