"Family Need" sounds incomplete... like I'm expecting a word after that. But nothing.

If you were going along the lines of a "Family Needs" kinda name, the singular doesn't work well.

Because it looks and sounds incomplete, being a domainer and all, I read it as a hack:

"Family Need DotCom".

Kinda agree with that statement. :D

What end-user would actually consider the singular? Would be a hard find.

But I'd say $0 - $10

As you bought it, the possibility of a sell would exist, maybe in Ebay you could get up $10

If you approach it from a different view point, it could potentially have value. If it was a website for a program like big brother/big sister, where you're basically expressing "need for family", i could see some value.

I'd list it somewhere for $100/OBO and take the first offer that rolls in above your purchase price (unless you were planning to develop).

It doesn't have a lot of value (unless you luck out and find somebody with the type of organization i outlined above), but it does have value i'd say above reg fee.
