OK, tell me, what exactly are Tanning Agents and why would I want to spend the next few days bidding on them when I can bid on easily pronounceable names such as sgrtgnzzxeswyz.biz?
Good question. Tanning Agents provide a way of faking a sun tan enabling a person to get that golden god/goddess look all year round. The Queensland Government website on skin care describes it - "Fake tanning refers to using a tanning agent to colour the skin. There are two main types of fake tans: skin dyes and tan enhancing agents"
It then gives the following advice "Fake tanning agents that do not require a person to be exposed to sunlight for the agent to work are relatively safe to use". There are a wide range of tanning agents advertised for sale direct to consumers or advertised as being used by beauty parlours.
Tanning Agents are also used in the leather industry to tan hides and skins.
