A better parking/landing page can provide a better CTR
but, the income per click that all depends on the program and keywords

a "nicer" looking landing page could also provide a worse CTR.

That is possible, but overall (my expierience) a better landing page (better looking)
(in combination with the right keywords) provide a better CTR.

Fabulous is Fabulous

I've got to add my 2 cents. I love Fabulous, and the new landers are awesome. I thought I'd show a few --

CheapGolfDeals.com

SeattleWaterView.com

LadyBasketball.com

OnePilates.com

NetBlogger.co.uk best traffic for any .co.uk that I have is here at Fabulous, by the way. And, Don't know any ppc guy more on the ball than Michael from Fab.

i agree & the better looking pages make the user feel more comfortable and more likely to "browse" the site. its not an obvious parking page it looks more like a real website like perfumeblog.com, gaming.tv or hybridoftheyear.com for example. do a test amongst your friends, i did and domainspa layouts won everytime with regard to "overall looks" :imho:

Just gave your Golf page a few more CLICKS :) Nice lander.

Between that and some of the sites I have listed wtih GoldKey, it's becomming easier to get people to click the ads and fields.

Check this to compare... www.pcgo.be

PLEASE don't do that unless you are genuinely interested in the link. Clicking for the sake of "being nice" or "helping out" is stealing from the advertisers. Abuse of PPC is a major problem, and threatens the existence of such wonderful programs. The advertisers are paying to receive REAL prospects. They will stop paying if they're getting too many false clicks. Thank you.

I have 30 domain names with namedrive but I don't like the parking pages. So for my new names I parked them in Domainspa.com like jobschannel.TV and a few in the signature. The parking page looks so cool. I showed it to my friends they actually thought that I made a website. But, still not sure abt the revenues. So have to look into it more carefully.

PLEASE don't assume that I am not interested in Golf and wouldn't be using the site simply because I found it interesting.

I personally own several golf sites that have ZERO ppc or affiliate programs on them simply because I love to golf. Like any other resource on the Internet, if I find something that is of use, I will USE it.

That site does indeed have a nice lander and it has some pretty cool stuff and relevant links.

You know... I'm starting to see a trend here. So many people go through so many extra efforts to NOT use each other's sites. Even to the point of typing in the ad address direct so as to NOT give a fellow advertiser any credit.

I agree... do not abuse. But like a red blooded american male, if I'm hooked up with a sexy blonde that can't get enough of me... you KNOW I'm going to partake as often as possible.

Nice websites aren't any different. I don't care WHO they belong to or whether or not the links are PPC. This enormous community should carry the same attitude.

I just cant figure out if the efforts to NOT use each other's sites are born of fear of retribution or spite.

Anyway, nice lander. I stick to it. I've bookmarked it. I will use it whenever I need more Golf Stuff.

Scott, when you post a message like "Just gave your Golf page a few more CLICKS Nice lander." ...and you put a strong emphasis on the word "CLICKS", you're sending a clear message that you're clicking for the sake of clicking (whether or not that was the actual intention). I don't know you, and I don't "assume that you are not interested in Golf". But when you put the emphasis on CLICKS rather than saying you found some good golf information, it appears that you are encouraging clicking for the sake of generating ppc.

There is nothing wrong with using each other's sites if there is a real interest in the ad. But if we want PPC to survive as a working business model, we need to be careful about how newbies in PPC might interpret what we say on a public forum. The more clicks that do not produce results for the advertisers = the less they're willing to pay for the clicks. Not "fear", not "spite". It's about responsible protection of something we want to see continue for a long time.

Gotcha... Fogive my shortness... I just had a frustrating conversation on the topic of going around affiliate links for the point of NOT giving credit to the affiliates. It's amazing how many of the people here on this forum go out of their way to NOT click through or join affiliates or whatever.

The more I read, the more I see it.

I didn't read my post as emphasising rampid clicks but perhaps it came across that way. I apologize if it did. He did indeed get a few "clicks" because I was truly interested in what I found there.

In fact, I may be ordering from one of the vendors there, if I can shake the money loose from the wife ;)

Anyway, thanks for the note. If anyone was thinking I was advocating random clicking... I'M NOT.

Just click what you like. This forum is FULL of great sites and resources.

Don't NOT CLICK just because you don't want someone else making a dime. Don't go around affiliates just to ensure they don't make some ching. And don't go out of your way to spite members here. Be fair on BOTH fronts.

That's my word.
