Extention: How Much Does It Matter?

With good keywords, how much (percentage wise) does the extention matter?

Personally, it doesn't much matter to me. However, when I'm thinking about marketing a domain I'll go for a .com 9.999/10 times. The average person associates a website with a .com therefore I find it in better marketing. However, I do register other extensions when they fit better.

I registered my first .org a few days ago.

A lot. However, to answer this question you need to ask also if you are able to get that keyword in the .COM namespace at a cost you can afford to pay.
