The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There were 2 bidders for BMXCycle.com at $18. So the first one to bid $18 wins. So @ratish won this domain. Sorry to @omelet for not picking that up before the auction ended.
arrr

haha I just saw that. Why I placed $18?
Should be 20. My mistake
Congratulations to ratish. Great name with traffic I bet

It was an eye-opener to me that you could transfer out expired domains at Dynadot. I have edited the first post to allow expired domains to be transferred away if they are under 30 days expired. But you need to request transfer away with your bid. You should be careful with any domain which is close to the 30 day limit. If you win the domain after it reaches 30 days expired. Only a push is possible, which means the price is renewal plus late renewal fee plus winning bid.

Just as additional FYI, in fact you can transfer out from DD upto day 40 after expiry, even though they have the $10 'late fee'; you just have to get onto chat and ask for a Domain Specialist and then ask them to do a temporary unlock and email you the EPPs / Auth Codes and, they will. (Sometimes after a little argument, but pointing out you have the right to transfer away domains per ICANN rules on pre-redemption domains and they'll do it happily, in fact.)

Have done this many times, even, slightly incredibly to me at the time, with just 2 hours before end of day 40.

They refused me to transfer out even in the last 48 hours of expired 30 days

I'm wanting transfers only when I'm auctioning off excess inventory. I cannot leave that to chance. That maybe they will, maybe they won't. So I'll stick to what is guarantee-able, at 30 days. But this is good to know. Also. I can't just pick up the phone and talk to somebody. My communications are limited to Online Chat.

They certainly should not have, per ICANN, see below.

Yes, they only work on online chat, its true.

In the 'little argument' I mentioned that is sometimes necessary, I refer them to ICANN policy re transfers -

they told me based on dynadot policy, after the 28th day of the domain expiration, they don’t allow transfer out any more

sad they lie to me

- a pain, for sure. You might want to submit a complaint to ICANN per point 10 of the reference above.

If you have been overbid, please add another bid before it's too late.
Please correct any errors via PM
There are still plenty of good names without bids
BIN is a reasonable $60 for any domain.
