Dynadot.com has extended their API to work with non bulk accounts. Now all dynadot accounts have free API access & an API key.

The dropking.com software will work with all Dynadot accounts.

The key is used to identify you when using the API. To view your key, please enter your account password.

xtmoney, you should be able to find your API key by clicking these links:

Dynadot.com -> Account -> Domains -> API

Verify your birthdate & the button should appear that allows you to view your API key.

i ask dynadot stuff about restriction and they sent me this:

But in short, you need to

1. Wait for a response from the API before sending another request.
2. For COM/NET domains, you can only search for the same domain 10 times in 100 seconds. You can search for other domains during that time, just not the same domain.

Hi xtmoney,

To answer your questions and concerns about:

1. Wait for a response from the API before sending another request.

2. For COM/NET domains, you can only search for the same domain 10 times in 100 seconds. You can search for other domains during that time, just not the same domain.

The software sends a domain registration request & sits idle until a response is received from Dynadot before trying again. This complies with their #1 rule above. The response is usually very fast within the same second usually & another "try" is triggered instantly in a loop.

About the 10 tries per 100 seconds for .com / .net, I don't think this is an issue. If you send too many requests for the same domain, you may get the "system_busy,," error. However for many years of using the software, I've never had any problems & can assure you that more than 10 requests per domain are perfectly handled without any issues. Lately I can squeeze in a lot more requests for the same domains and everything is working smooth.

The only issue now seems that once dynadot opened up their api to all users, the system_busy,, error is appearing for a lot of users. Also delays up to 30 seconds during drop time for certain patches of time during the drop if too many users are using the API.

Overall Dynadot's API continues to work well for me. I will keep everyone updated on any issues users report.

There is no demo software at the moment. However, PM me & I'd be happy to let you test the software for five days and decide for yourself.

i know namecheap is one of biggest resellers of enom. i bought enom api aoft from your site.
if i have enom api will work namecheap api or it;s different from namecheap api?
if so..how much for namecheap api soft?

The enom api software will not work with namecheap's api. The programs each work with a different registrar connection / url.
