Anytime a domain name is not renewed it becomes expired. Everyday thousands of expired domains "drop" and become available for new registration. Domain investors, small/large businesses, SEO experts, affiliate marketers and dozens of others around the world browse through these expired domains in the days before they "drop" and then try to acquire them for a variety of reasons including investment, development and quick flip purposes. DesktopCatcher is an easy-to-use Windows application that will help you find, analyze and attempt to instantly register your desired domains automatically!

Who Can Use This Software?
Business Owners - Does a company like Remax own just one real estate domain? Do you think HostGator registered only one hosting related domain? No! These companies likely have hundreds (if not thousands) of domains related to their industry and they get used for all sorts of things. Since most domains (even 3 and 4 word names) are now taken in major extensions it's made businesses turn more towards expired domains.
SEO Experts - We all know links play a large role in terms of search engine optimization. Blog networks are what most in the SEO field use to build good quality incoming links these days and most blog networks are created with expired domains. Since people can scan, analyze and then register names that were previously developed it offers the added benefit of these domains already having some "authority" from the past owner.
Domain Investors - Domainers buy and sell domain names on a regular basis and often have large domain portfolios. They're constantly browsing through expired domains to find names they can either buy and hold for future sale (invest) or sell quickly for a small profit (quick flip).
Anyone Else - If you aren't already using expired domains to your advantage then you're surely missing out! If you see any need for registering domains on a regular basis then this software can help! Browse through domains that will be dropping in the coming days and analyze them to find the ones you want. Then, use DesktopCatcher to snatch them the second they drop!

How Does it Work
Although setting up the software is fairly simple, it may take more than just a few minutes the first time. All purchases include a copy of our eBook which explains how to set things up from start to finish! First, install the software and setup accounts at your desired domain registrars. Funds will then need to be per-deposited at the registrar(s) in order to cover registration fees. DesktopCatcher currently supports ten different registrars for you to choose from! Each registrar can send between 1 and 2 requests per second. The more registrars you setup, the more requests you'll be able to send each second and increase your odds of success! This software doesn't only drop catch expired domains, though. There is at least a half dozen other unique tools built to help you analyze domains for SEO metrics, availability and more!

Common Questions
Which domain registrars are supported? - DynaDot, NameSilo, OnlineNIC, RRPproxy, NameBay, MijnDomeinReseller, AJM.Domains, Internet.bs, Gandi and eNom.
What type of domains can it catch? - DesktopCatcher can catch all types of domains in a variety of extensions. However, we don't recommend using it if you chase highly competitive domains such as one word .COM, four letter .COM and 5 number .COM domains.
What extensions are supported? - Each registrar supports different extensions. Almost all support common gTLDs like COM/NET/ORG/BIZ, and many also support ccTLDs.

@FPForum
1. Any chance you could come up with discount a little more than currently offered 10%, maybe in coming weeks or months ?
2. What happens when two people order the same domain using the software simultaneously. How does the software decide to award the domain ?

The software is only a tool that uses the various APIs of the registrars you use via that tool.
It all depends upon your connection, your possible ranking in the API of a certain registrar (ie. Dynadot uses a ranking system where the money you spent is a factor of the priority you have with using their API), etc.
The tool can't help with any of that.

Hope I answered that question until FPForum replies

This could be a possible factor. It makes sense.

Not sure about this factor. Do you mean a person's internet speed may make the difference ?

the *quality* of the internet connection...yes

don't expect to have the same performance when torrenting (ie. too many connections used) vs no activity on your network

@Primary Names - thanks for posting. I will create a new 20% discount code on lifetime licenses that will be available until the middle of March. Anyone who wants to take advantage of this can enter code 'SPRING2018' during checkout.

If two people are chasing the same domain and one person gets it over the other then that could be due to a number of reasons. Someone may have more registrars running than the other. Internet connection could play a role as well because you're wanting to fire requests as quickly as possible. Anything along the lines of DSL, Cable and other high speed providers should be fine. However, if you're on a satelite or dialup connection then speed could be a factor. One registrar (DynaDot) does use a priority system like Hypersot was talking about. This could also be a factor. Your best bet is to look at setting up multiple registrars to try and fire as many requests as possible, while also having a decent connection that isn't going to drop or have your IP change frequently. If this is the case then consider getting a Windows VPS where you will use the data centers connection.

- Does it work on Linux? Natively or in Wine?
- Lifetime license is tied to static IP? If yes, what about lifetime license for Dynamic IPs?

Thanks for your replies everyone! @nitg16 -
To run on Linux you would need to use Wine, it won't run Natively. That's because it requires .NET Framework which is a Windows framework, so it either needs Windows or some virtualization of Windows. Lifetime licenses are tied to the computer. If you ever want to move the software to another machine anytime you can, just send me an email or private message to reset your key. Once reset, you can proceed to install and use on your new machine.

@Primary Names and @anantj - I ran a Christmas promotion of 50% off a while back, but that was also when the price on the software was higher (it's since been reduced) and anantj is correct, it was for lifetime licenses which is what all coupon codes are applied to. I'll send you an PM shortly Primary Names to discuss more.

Out of curiousity, what was the price then? Also, I think this was for some anniversary or milestone discount. The coupon code was, afaik, THANKYOU at that time.

Me too please. I've decided to go for it this time around (The last time, I had unexpected expenses so wasn't able to purchase it then).

Any benefits of doing this ?

Some people like to setup different instances to run at different times for each extension. For example, instance 1 has my info domains and is scheduled to run at the INFO drop time..instance 2 has my com/net domains and is scheduled to run during the com/net drop..instance 3 has me in domain and is scheduled to run during the in drop time..etc. Basically, multiple instances can let you get ready for multiple drops.

For ccTLD's some people like to focus more requests on a single domain. So, for example, say the INFO drop starts soon and I have 3 INFO names I'm chasing. I might open 3 instances of DesktopCatcher - select 1 or 2 different registrars in each (registrars do not let you send multiple requests to the same API account simultaneously) and then put 1 INFO name in each instance. When doing this, the 1-2 registrars you have running in each instance will solely focus on one domain instead of cycling through a list. This little method actually helps to make sure your constantly focusing requests on a single domain using multiple instances, without having to cycle through your list of names.

... helps make sure to focus requests on a single domain using multiple instances, using separate registrars, without having to cycle through your list of names.
makes sense.
Thanks.
