I am considering selling off a few of my sites as I don't have the time to develop them all.

How much would you appraise this at assuming 60 uniques per day and earnings in the region of $800 a month.

Personally I think the domain alone could be very valuable and wanted some second opinions before I put it out there.

The domain name alone is nice. A website with those earnings plus the domain I would have to say I would not sell this for anything less than $20,000 (18 months revenue of $14,400 + developed website + extra for the quality of the domain). IMHO.

Depends on source of traffic and source of revenue.

i.e. Whats the sustainability?

Would sell more on revenue than domain value but that is low traffic.
Why isnt it scaling?

Thanks for the feedback peeps. I think I'm going to keep hold of it, do what I have to do elsewhere and come back to it in the future. If SEO wasn't such a mine field these days I would be marketing it fully but all my efforts are going into one site at the moment (at the expense of a few other sites with really nice potential!).

IMO, the value is no where near what some are saying in this thread. Are you positive they are really uniques. Since it's spelled in reverse order does not seem likely it could get that much traffic and typeins but if it actually does still don't see how it would earn a high $800-mo on PPC.

Keep in mind the name is actually twisted. The valuable commodity futures trading term and far better is Currency Exchange certainly not Exchange Currency.

I see a lot of potential in this domain. It will take some time to find the right person but low to mid $xx,xxx is reasonable.

- The words aren't easy to spell (This domain may target travellers who may not have great English skills)

Isn't this forum called domain appraisals (not website appraisals) for evaluating domain name values, not developed sites?

Too many variables to appraise a website here, especially with minimum stats and few details.

I stand fully by what I said. It's not a stand-alone commonly used term and far more valuable in reverse order.

However if the appraisal is going to be based on domain+income, then i would say if you are constantly making 800 a month since minimum several months (and without having invested $$$$ in adwords, etc.), then i would agree with dave and appraise this package in the low xx.xxx range min.

Ditto. Well worded.

It's real difficult making a consistent $800 mo NET income from a website and if it's being done easily 5-figure value.
