EV1Servers - Status Update!

If anyone has a server at EV1Servers, and it's down right now ...

From what I know, a core router has failed in DC2. They're working on it right now. Theresa, from EV1, told me "I'm estimating about 20000 + or - servers are down," in IRC. They estimate between 30 minutes to 1 hour downtime, so you can stop with the reboot requests.

Oh I guess I got lucky, mine are up, and NamePros is surely not down. :D

At approximately 11 am (gmt -6) one link of a distribution router failed and internal traffic failed over without issue. Unfortunately, as a result of our beta testing a new routing configuration, a discontinuity was created for traffic originating outside DC2.

We are now investigating the root issue with the link, we have resolved the routing problem, and we do not expect further issues with this distribution router.
