Escrow.com announced changes to its fees regarding domain name transactions. The standard escrow fee for transactions created starting May 31, 2024 PST will be under a new pricing structure.

$50 is the minimum fee. So they charge $50 if the domain sells for $100, $500, or $1000. They've taken themselves out of the market for lower priced sales.
