Once owned by corresponding .com, which acquired by google. somehow they drop the .tv
any thoughts ?

The name was not dropped by accident. See my response to you on another forum.

Episodic no longer exists. It is clearly just google.

The question becomes how could you use that name going forward? It would be a challenge based on its prior existence.

As a pure name. It would be a good name for a blog on TV or someone studying television at college.
