Thank you Herman.

I guess the lack of response here on this domain is to be expected from all you Americans who don't give a damn about the environment.

Sure, because it's only Americans who "don't give a damn about the enviroment" and only Americans who do domain appraisals.

Seems like a decent domain to me but i'm not too hot on domain values. Still, i wouldn't expect much of a responce given your latest reply.

I find that highly offencive and racist . Not all Americans are Geroge Bush and most Americans don't even like him anyway.

GOD I hate it when people assume Americans are all the same.

Sure, we all pollute, no country or person is innocent.

Well it's the good old USA who won't sign up for Kyoto, it's the USA that dropped two nuclear bombs, it's the USA that intends to keep burning coal for the next two hundred years to provide it's electricity needs, it's America who bases all of it's foreign policy on it's need for cheap oil (even if it is a disaster) and you won't see to many Hummers outside the USA.

I believe every American is responsible for a share of their governments environmental responsiblities thats why they have such a wonderful democracy.

We dont all litter, We didnt all vote for President Bush, I own a ****ing Honda Civic Hybrid for christs sake so how can you say we are all the same. Just because we have an idiot in presidency does not mean that we are all like him.

Read this:

And dont be so racist, I would ask the same about any American saying shit about every other country.

And didnt an American make this movie to provide awarness about pollution and global warming??

Sorry, "all you Americans who don't give a damn about the environment." was not meant to imply 'All Americans' merely 'All Americans who don't give a damn about the environment' and as Bushes opposition to Kyoto was one of his major reasons for election victory, that must imply that the majority of 'Americans don't give a damn about the environment'.

However you cannot deny your country is the biggest polluter and consumer of energy. All this talk about India and China. India consumes 2 million barrels of oil a day. China less than 5. The U.K. 1.6. And why does the US consume 20 millions barrels a day. Because of it's addiction to cheap gas and the unwillingness of ALL it's politicians, past and present to tackle the unpopular problem. So much for American democracy, when the protectionist lobbyist's really run the country. (sorry if the stats are not completly accurate.)

I know and understand this and I am not implying that this is not a huge problem. I am sure we can both agree AND debate about many of the issues here for hours but as long as you understand that a great many Americans (people I talk to on a day to day basis, people who have written books, made many documentaries etc) are on your side of this matter then I will be happy.

And (back on topic! lol) I like the domain. I am not a very experienced domainer so sorry I cant help appraise it.

You can't blame it all on Bush, the governments of the US have all been unwilling to tackle the nations oil consumption.

P.S. I have been a subscriber to Rolling Stone for 28 years, never missed an issue. It is one of the few media sources that may have an effect on future generations, but don't hold youyr breath, most of those love 'n' peace hippies of the 60's turned into gas guzzling consumers.

LOL. That is the best line I have heard in a long time. Once again we can both agree on this.

I just sent you a PM I would like to actually have a discussion about this with you somewhere other then a domain appraisal thread :)

Is this still an appraisle thread?

Or did it turn into a rant and argument.

I suggest the thread be closed.

Maybe try another thread for your appraisle. And maybe a separate thread to discuss the well being of our shared planet.

:)

The domain sat here without a response for a week, at least it got some attention now.

More appraisals welcome, please, whatever your nationality, politics or mode of transport. :)

It was an decent pick up. My appraisal on this one is $50
I don't think that the "lack" of response/appraisals that you have recieved has much to do with "Americans who do not care about the environment" rather I believe that the lack of response on this one simply is because this was in fact a boring domain to appraise. EnvironmentAction.com is very usable for a pro saving the environment type of propaganda web site, and I would try and sell it by searching for "save the environment" in google and see what comes up. Perhaps you may be fortunate enough hto find someone interested in a domain like this one that is very straight to the point and useable, and perhaps you can catch a couple hundred dollars.

I agree that you should develope this one. This is a topic you seem so passionate about and I think you can make a great site!

Yes "the american government" seems to be anti-environmental currently.

Ex: Lowering pollution standards to re-coup from hurricane Katrina... The irony is disgusting.

However that is in bad taste to say "you Americans who don't give a damn about the environment. You could have said "the American Government". I did not vote for Dumbass Bush and I never would!

Also the above remarks by DOminic were not racist, were they. Americans are not a race, there is only one race on this Earth, the HUMAN RACE. People need to get that point into there heads. I'm tired of all this "racist this and "racist that, we are all of the same race.

I am a born and raised American. Raised in a small town/Red state in the mid-west and moved to a big city/Blue state 6 years ago. I also travel alot..... And let me tell you, by the looks of some other countries, If they had as much as we do, their cities would be 10 fold more filthy..

Pollution and the denile of Global Warming both disgust me greatly, I am a nature lover and try to spread the word of our impending demise so that we can hopefully fix the situation before it is too late. I doo all that I can, from highway clean up, to election the politicians that share my views. PLEASE DON"T STEROTYPE OUR FELLOW HUMANS..ever.

As far as the DN goes. I like it, of course:)
If you develop it maybe I can link to you from my soon to be developed GiaGoneWild.com

Cheers and good luck!
