What does a tie mean in enom.

I was in a private auction, it says that the number of bidders are 10 and the highest bid is "2(tie)".

What does this mean?

Thanks for the reply. Then who will win the auction?. Since everyone bids at 2 points and its in tie?.

I think iam the first person to bid for that domain. And this domain has 300 links in google.

enom isn't clear on this.

However, in the previous version od ClubDrop, in case of a tie enom gives the domain to the person who has had the least success with ClubDrop. After you win something, then you go back to being last priority.

I hate the namedrop quirks like this I think it's time to relaunch the whole thing with clear rules and make it fair for everybody.

I until today that only one person can bid for a single price, ie, if i had bid for 2 points i thought noone can bid for that and if they had to bid, they must enter some higher price. :|( in enom.

I believe they go by time stamp

An old thread, but without a clear answer yet. Is someone knows the answer (except silent enom) ?

I have several private auction with tie at $2 and I would like to know who win if nobody bids.

Thanks,
David.

Yep the winner is the person who was first to add it to their list before the drop. Unfortunately I don't think that there is a way of telling if you were the first. So it is a bit of a gamble.

All the best

Thanks Richard.
Yes, impossible to be sure I'm the first one. But because I add them to my list the day of the drops, I guess I'm not the first one :)

Thanks,
David.

Good luck in the auction. Hehe, just higher it by one if there is a tie. Always have yours higher than one in an auction, because if it is a tie usually at the last minute someone else comes and highers theirs and wins.

the first one to bid the tied amount wins

I was wondering about this as well. Too bad they don't tell you if you're the first bidder...

That would mean decreased revenue to them, as then the first bidder wouldn't be encouraged to raise his bid. It's all about $$$, this drop game.

You made me a lucky guy, I won 1 domain name without update my bid. And I'm sure I wasn't the first one to add the name in my list this day...

Thanks,
David.
