Has anyone else heard the news, they're changing their rates from $6.95 to $7.45 for us resellers that put down the $7,000 to get an account. I actually have two of them, bought one for $400, and then paid the $7000 for the second one.

Any way, wasn't this the price we were supposed to pay for life? Anyone else got some info on this situation?

But, last check, they are hard to qualify for such a account right?

Wow... very nice pricing, esp. the .NET :)

Hi Silhouette,

We do have a stringent approval process. Basically we are looking to service large portfolio owners, with generic/commercial domain names.

If anyone like to apply for an account, please let me know and I can review for suitability/eligibility.

Moniker for security and Fabulous for price, but neither have great control panels.

Hi stub,

In an effort to improve our product/service can you please provide me with any suggestions/feedback which would make our system more user friendly.

Cheers,

Mike

All registrars will likely be raising prices.
The lower-priced ones, anyway. I know one high-priced registrar who's eating
the costs because they can afford it.

Hi DNWizardX9,

We do support IDN names as transfers. However, we cannot actually offer IDN new registrations. I believe that when registering IDN names you need to set a language type, and our system does not support that.

However, once it has been registered and the language set, itโ€™s ok to then be transferred into our registry.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,

Mike

I lost my eNom $6.95 account!

I purchased an eNom $6.95 reseller account several years ago. Due to the recent industry wide price increase, my eNom ETP increased my pricing from $6.95 to $7.95 instead of stopping at $7.45 - is this the norm? What are your experiences?

I am planning to bulk transfer all my domains to Fabulous - does anybody have any promo codes? Or else I may consider somewhere else too if they have a special going on.

Mine stayed at $7.45, you better give them a call and see what's up.

I guess that is the default jump for the reseller chain setting. (??) My non-ETP account also reflects a very big jump (cant remember the exact figure but I guess is around yours)
any way, not reg'ing thru' them anymore. just to rev. pushes i guess.

:)

Yeah, I wrote to my top level ETP (UrlCollection) and they mentioned rising costs, customer service cost, blah blah and refused to lower from $7.95 - anyway I have started moving my entire portfolio to fabulous.

almost all companies have raised priced recently.

Yeah, but not beyond the standard industry increase. My 6.95 account should only increase to 7.45 and not 7.95

That depends. eNom direct accounts went to $7.45 but if you're not direct (account through a reseller) your price change may be different.

If you're direct ETP & were at 6.95 contact eNom. Your price should be 7.45.

I don't understand how can Enom charge such a big price for customers that invested $7000, when you can register them elsewhere for still the old price (eating profit margins).

I just got a Godaddy reseller account, and I buy domains, and even sell them, for much less than that.
