This was posted at WHT by an eNom employee. I am on the phone now with support and it looks like the below is the "new" change to the push rule.

A domain owner can push their domain to their own sub/parent accounts up to 2 times within a 7 day period.

A domain owner can push their domain to someone elses account 1 time every 7 days.

There is no limit to the number of domains pushed, just the amount of times that a particular domain can be pushed within a 7 day period.

Further clarification that I recieved on the phone. You can buy a domain for someone and immediately push it to a sub-account under your account. If it is getting pushed to an account outside of the parent structure it will need to wait the 7 days.

I keep hearing people ask why? I was told that this is to combat the credit card fraud issue that has been troublesome.

Whew, some clarification. I guess now the new rule is a bit less restrictive than we thought...

Well they actually changed it. Looks like some complaining worked.

I'm sorry but it's still a little complex and confusing.
Most importantly, unnecessary! There is always a trail (log) or should be.
Why inflict it on the people that use enom the most?

No matter how a domain is wrangled around, they should have complete details on what happened internally, how does "slowing it down" help anyone? Computers don't get tired.

Oh, I didn't realize. At least they were responsive to customer complaints...

I don't like it either, but I was just ripped off on 2 domains by having the charges reversed, so it does happen. Luckily not much of a loss though.

Explain what this means please?
Someone bought two domains from you and reversed the CC charges out of your merchant account?

How does the enom changes help you in this case?

In this case it may not help but lets say that someone used a stolen credit card. If it was caught under 3 days then you as an enom reseller would be out no money. If it was after 3 but less then 7 days you could take control of the domain and either (a) get that person to send you funds via a different method or (b) try and sell the domain to recoup you fees.

HEY GUYS - can you push a domain immediately after registering?

Herb, if I trust acts837, only if you push in sub-account under your account...
