I've read on numerous posts that people have experienced double-billing problems with ENOM (and buying .TVs thru ENOM). Does anyone here care to share their experiences? I am not sure if I am victim of the double-billing problem, but my accountant has advised me to go through all my ENOM transactions to double-check and take action if necessary.

Has anyone been affected? What was the scope of the problem? If so, how easy was it to rectify the problem? Was ENOM willing to help and offer up refunds?

I'm not trying to stir up controversy, but I am truly concerned after reading many posts and speaking with a few premium .tv buyers on the phone who may have been affected...

hoping for the best... but expecting the worst.

It never happen to me, but just in case you can easily dispute this right away. Don't wait, do it right away to avoid any charge back.

Be careful there, on of the situations was that one person did dispute the charges and his enom account was immeadiately suspended.

He was unable to log in, move domains away or speak to anyone who wasn't rude to him. Last I read, he was still in the same boat.

That, and the others I read about, plus the other crap enom does, and the demand media.........I am done with enom. The only use for them was premium names, but that isn't enough to keep me there. As deals come up, I am moving my domains out of there.

I am very weary of their billing system.

I have had at least 10 times where my card was mysteriously debited. I have overdrawn several different accounts because of enom. They charge accounts that are no longer in the system that I never agreed to use, I get over draft charges and pay them then enom figures it out 3 weeks later and refunds the money well after I paid the overdraft charges, then of course they charge another account that I was not expecting. I have had occasions where they put a hold on funds for double the amount of names I ordered. Eventually they refunded it, but its so freaking hard to track. I had billing problems with my premium names too. They put a hold on funds, then never charged me, then about 6-7 weeks later bam!!!! I have 80+ names there and 5 times that at godaddy. I have never overdrafted any account not even once using godaddy.

All the supposed savings I was getting by using them has completely gone out the door.

I avoid enom at all costs now.

Yes...I've had occasions where enom has charged $24.95 and authorized an additional $24.95 charge during both domain registrations and transfers. Then a few days later the temporary authorization was removed. They present a "lame" explanation for this practice during checkout when doing transfers.

I had a similar problem the other day when buying fuel at BP. They charged my card $30 for the actual gas purchase and then also put a temporary hold of $75 on my card that stayed for 4 or 5 days.

Contact BP, they legally are not allowed to do that. It was an issue a few years ago, and a few of the big companies got taken to court over it.

It's never happened to me before, but from now on, I'll keep a close eye on the c/c bill

I've recently had an issue where my credit card info dissapears from my the "my info" section of my account, and it comes up that there is no card associated with the account when I try to reg. This happened twice and I typed it back in. The third time I checked it and there were random letters in my card number field. Support asked me to type my number back in and they would try to trace what's happening, but I'm not inclined to put my card back on their system. I've been renewing over the phone. Can anybody tell me how do you use paypal for Enom.tv? I don't see that option. thanks.

DM is very attentive to expiring domains

They send email on a consistent basis long before the domain(s) are actually going to expire.
