Maybe the 4.95 is related to us/biz price ? If yes, it was a limited time offer, and it's over. All us/biz are same prices than com/net/org

Now that I found out the pricing changed for all accounts..I'm not sure its worth buying another $6.95 account? I would have to register over 100 more domains to break even...For now I'm sticking with my old $6.95 account which turned into an $8.95 account last night...

PS...Semperfi...it ended up being ENOM that did the change not the ETP...can you imagine that

What?! Who did that?

enom

ENOM changed the reseller pricing...so the one above me had to change the pricing since they changed his pricing too..Although ENOM said it should not be $8.95..he should have kept it at $6.95..its up to him though..

My is still $6.95 but my .us prices have raised from 4.95 too 7.95.

That more expensive than .com .info .... that I think its strange.

No more $4.95 us and biz registrations at enom... promotion is over. You won't find such an account.

I changed it to say $6.95 so it makes more sense to people..BTW "domainresellbiz"...I notice your always selling ENOM accounts in all pricing structures...Just wondering...do you make money selling ENOM accounts from 1 Master $6.95 account? Many people think $6,950 deposit tooo much...but on the other hand...it goes towards domain purchases, and second if you sell the subaccounts you have a steady little income of free money...and the money from resellers...with plenty of promotion you could double your money in 1 year...Sell 20 of those $300 accounts your selling and you already have $6,000...I don't see myself buying 1,000 domains otherwise it would be worth it..However...I would be interested in hearing if its from 1 Master account that you can sell so many subaccounts..

FYI...from what I understand...you don't need a $6,950 deposit if you have 1,000 or more domains...Never noticed anyone post that...everyone's always talking about the money and not that you can do a domain deposit instead...So...if I'm an $8.95 subaccount and want to upgrade to $6.95 then there is no deposit as long as I have 1,000 domains.. At least this is what I understand from my conversation with ENOM...don't even have close to that number...would be nice though:)

FMS, an ETP can't create anything but 8.95 accounts. Zoli sells old sub-accounts that were create many moons ago. As far as the 1000 domains, yes that is true. You can also do a percentage to get your pricing down. Let's say 500 domains and then $3475 (500 x 6.95) would get you a 6.95 ETP account also.

Semper Fi.....Yes...my account is one of the OLD subaccounts...ENOM told me they are beginning to change the pricing on those accounts.....to match the correct pricing structure..So I don't think the OLD accounts are going to be around very long with the low pricing structure...ENOM further stated...that the pricing was from way back when and they are going in to subaccounts and changing them to the correct pricing...thats why mine went up...They also stated that they do not condone people selling the old accounts...Maybe the old accounts will soon vanish...too bad:(

I may not be popular when I say this but..."it's about time eNom starts following through with some of their promises."

Sometime back I was thinking of buying out a fellow competitor. After some lengthy discussions with the Seattle folks I decided against pursuing the purchase based on "changes on the horizon".

I still believe 8.95 accounts are a good option for a person with many domains or a web hosting business. If their ETP is worth their salt they will help them along with the guidance towards becoming an ETP themselves. In my opinion this is how one builds a solid reputation. Tell it like it is and don't try to pull one over on your fellow businesses. It usually comes back to bite you!

I agree withact837.

Most of my clients are resellers, so far they enjoy being part of my resellers network. They build thier own customers based and compete in domain name business.

Cheers,
Em

I do not think that enom will end the "already used" $6.95 accounts. When they changed their rule about 2 years ago they wanted to stop the $6.95 account trend. At that time... almost everybody could get a $6.95 account from another subreseller for ... $5-10 setup fee.... This was obviously bad for enom.

Now the things are changed, you can not find a $6.95 account under $180 - 200, and who is buying such an account for $200, you can make sure he will register many domain names, so in fact this is a good business for enom. Now, things are different than 2 years ago. 2 years ago there were no way to register domain names for $6.95, that was the lowest rate... now there are many other companies offering similar deals or even better deals (in terms of price), however enom is still the best. But I am asking you something. You want to register 50-100 domain names, there are no more available $6.95 accounts left on the market. What will you do? Deposit $7000 to enom? I hardly believe. You go to DirectI or another competitor and use them instead of enom.

And I am telling you something else, enom's market share would never been where it is without these $6.95 accounts. And I bet they know these things. There entire business model is brilliant and what they are doing is certainly profitable for them.
