Just curious as to the forums' view on this name

I regged as as a fresh registration some time ago. The '.gb.com' extension compliments 'England' perfectly and it has received a fair bit of interest of late, including decent offer views at SEDO

sell for whatever you can get ... Any sub domains mean your at the mercy of the tld owner... What guarantees would you (or whoever buys your name) have against the gb.com owner selling up and ko'ing you?

I think I'll hang onto it thanks.

I dont see the domain be adversely affected in the way you suggest as CentralNic is the Global Domain Name Registry for eu.com, us.com, uk.com, ru.com, cn.com and more.

Even if it were to pull out, registrars have responsbilities and obligations which would have to be met to protect registrants.
