Email Notifications

Anyone else not receiving any email notifications for subscribed threads or PM's? My email is working fine, but I am not receiving anything. :td:

Options look fine as do the subscriptions. They are set to instant.

I was a few days ago, haven't subscribed to any instant emails recently though

I have two emails listed under Options. Could the non primary be removed? Could this be the problem?

Sometimes I receive them, sometimes I don't. It's been worse lately. Not a big issue though, I visit NP every day.

Now that I think about it, I have been receiving less than it seems I am subscribed too but I still get some. Doesnt bother me though becuase I turned mine off about 30 seconds ago because it was annoying getting so many emails every day :hehe:

The second link, did you scroll to the bottom, and select "Instant Email Notifications", but whilst having thread's ticked?

It seems with large forums the email functions for thread subscriptions fail. We found this with one of our forums. It also happens at DNF, except it will send you the first subscription email and then no more after that.

The only solution is to use an external SMTP server (set in the vBulletin admincp) to send emails.

rmwebs, yes DNF has the issue a lot; however, I get theirs all the time.

I have no probs with e-mail notifications, just got one now as a matter of fact.
I think it might be a little slow though because of the amount of people using the server.

I haven't received any in a few months. I haven't changed any settings or changed my e-mail address. I've gotten a couple complaints from other members about similar issues, too.

I'm getting them just fine. I've got all the emails I was expecting, from PMs and subscribed threads. To a Hotmail account by the way.

sometimes my emails get classed as spam.

check your junk folder
