eGold Scam!

I'm quite new to egold & have done just a few transaction there, with very less money.But within this short period, someone tries to scam!

Here's the mail I got:

I got the same email. But it said that there was unauthorized access to my egold account so they suspended it. All the links were viruses (norton blocked them) so I just deleted the email.

Funny thing is that I don't even have a EGold account...

those mails are forged headers, don't click on the link sent to you by that, you can email use this form:
https://www.e-gold.com/acct/contactus.asp
and copy/paste the whole email with complete headers on it, according to e-gold.com they won't email you asking you to verify or click on a link and enter your password, it's not them.

We get them regularly as well. Never click any links in the mails. Just delete them.

am also a victim of e-gold scam, but thanks to e-gold team, i had no money in my egold acct in that time.. the hacker resets my password ;( ,, but i retrieve it..

the lesson is , check if the domain is e-gold.com not ip address run by hackers webserver
