What do you think of EduAid.com ?

Market: College financial aid & student loans

Notable: TLD for colleges & universities in the US, not sure about worldwide, all use .edu so "Edu Aid" .com

Comparable sale: DNPrices reports that CollegeAid.com sold in 2020 for $7395 at GD Auctions and it's currently listed for sale for $35,000.

What should I expect out of EduAid.com ? Thanks in advance for any appraisals & comments.

Just some additional info...

I received a few inquiries & offers over the years. Most recently was around 6 months ago. Received an unsolicited $3500 offer.

My counter offer of $12,500 was not within their budget.

My main business is in publishing college/edu related websites. This domain would be great, and still is great, for what I may use it for in the future. But I haven't done that yet and currently selling it seems like the right thing for me to do at the moment, but that could also change again soon. In other words, I suppose if the price is too low then it would not be worth it for me to sell.

That $3500 inquiry was through a broker. I talked to the broker yesterday and they were able to get the buyer on the phone. Turns out the buyer found a different domain that worked for their project, so no longer needing my domain.

I didn't bring my price down to $3500 but did cut my counter offer significantly. If I had done that when they initially inquired I think maybe they would have bought it. But, I wasn't as interested in selling it 6 months ago. Now at the current time I'm a little more interested in selling.

It's a decent brand.

Education + Aid.

It's not one I see high upside for, but I could see an end user willing to pay a few thousand.

I think you may be right. Last night I either saw an ad or a thread mentioning Atom.com and I saw they had an appraisal tool... their AI tool appraises EduAid.com at $41,000! :-o🤯 Maybe I need to rethink my strategy with this domain a bit more.

Any idea how accurate the Atom appraisals are?

Well, ai tools are usually not that accurate, bit not realistic i would say.

Though similar domain went for something,
edupreneurs . org3,444 USD2025-09-17Afternic

But again loads of work of luck so can't say accurately what is worth.

Good luck! :)
