Hi Everyone,

I see a lot of .edu urls in search engines and when I click on one of the url links I'm redirected to another page. My question is this, if .edu domains can only be registered by education firms how can a spammer get ahold of .edu domains ?

Pre-2001 domains are grandfathered.

is ristrected , by only universities and government's country

You can only buy old .edu domains from before 2001 or so. They will be costy though.
