Portello offers a unique way of to edit and update your web site by using Internet Explorer. It works as a plug-in that is available from the toolbar, and once activated, transforms the current page into an editable version, that can be modified in a WYSIWYG mode - the changes can be saved and the page automatically updated on your server. In addition to simple text editing, you can also create tables, removed or change images (with support for absolute positioning), format text, edit links and more. Advanced users can also edit the HTML source directly. Portello is configured with your FTP account information, which allows direct upload of the changed files, as well as file access, similar to an FTP Explorer view. The program also includes a restore option, that allows you to Undo changes and revert to a previous version of the page. While Portello is not a full-featured HTML editor, it is very convenient for quick editing jobs, and powerful enough to perform some more complex editing or design tasks.

Seems like a very effective tool if you just want to make a few quick changes. Unfortunately, it's Internet explorer only. I switched to Mozilla Firefox a long time ago, because it's more secure and almost W3C compliant. Does anyone know a similiar plugin for Firefox?
