Probably the best way to make money from this domain, is to use it to prove you are a great economist, and then get a job as an economist ...

I've seen both economics.com and economics.co.uk (now developed) advertised on forums in the past. They aren't as valuable as people think. That's because there's no popular value product to sell from the site.

I mean, we are all interested in economics, right? However, how many of us regularly pay out a lot for economics products? We don't, we just read the free stuff online.

I prefer the plural which is available. I can't see anyone buying the singular to develop it and I can't see a university taking it either.

actually I was thinking the "University" as a place to learn things. An online blog to learn economics with guests posting their views, research etc. And I am now thinking of developing it myself with my classmates and guest posts from professors. Doesn't this name make sense? I saw that none of the similar domain name owners are using the exact name. They redirect it to another website.(I can't afford such premium name) Suggestions please.

If developed into an article/news type site this could have good value. It's better to have the two words spelled out in full in this case, most people would rather click on economicsuniversity.com than econuni.com. Idk where these people went to school but at my college in the US everyone called economics classes by their names, not the class codes.

Maybe low $xxx on Flippa with a decent site developed

I think this is a good idea Economics covers anything and everything finance related so shouldnt be too hard to monetize as well.

I would develop it as a forum. As you know lots of things about economics -if you are a postgraduate student- it can be a popular forum. CPC rates are very high.
